My husband and I have been here twice, now. Both for special occasions. The waitstaff is probably the best in OKC, which I feel should be expected with the price you pay. I've not been disappointed with their food. Everything we've had there has been amazing. Awesome wine list. My favorite thing on their menu is the souffle. To. Die. For.

This place gets three stars because the quality of food was not worth the price. I would expect much more innovative dishes than fried shrimp. The foie gras was nice with a glass of sauternes. They have a good wine list and the server was accommodating. The fellow guests all seemed to be trying to smell something on the ceiling if you know what I mean. This is a place for people to go to spend money. Some people like things because they are more expensive and it makes them feel important. I understand, I went to a private high school. I prefer food that is fresh and tastes good. You will get that here, but there is just no excuse for the price. I wish OKC would come out with some better bars an restaurants like this but at an affordable price.

A friend recommended this restaurant to my husband and me and, I have to say, it was wonderful. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. The ONLY reason I didn't give it five stars is simply because the appetizer we had was too salty--tasted SO good....had it just not been for the salt---they just got a little too salt happy in the kitchen. Other than that, wonderful. My husband had steak--he said it was perfect. I had the dover sole, and it was to-die-for.

Saying it's the best restaurant in OKC is like calling Catholicism the most popular religion in Italy. Uh...yeah. Extraordinary. Chef Kurt Fleischfresser was having a distinguished career at great restaurants; for his solo venture, he elected to bring fine dining to his cowish hometown. Did he ever. One of the best wine selections anywhere, Kurt is a true wine authority as well as an imaginative chef. He still tours globally for various groups, and is/was on the board of James Beard. Sadly, the only grass-fed local beef is No Name, so I stick with seafood, duck and goose. Kurt's preparations are beyond words. I've eaten at some world-class restaurants. For food, none of them consistently beat The Coach House. The only reason it isn't five star/diamond in the guides is that the servers are all apprentices (this is how they can have this place in OKC) and so the service isn't always great. I'm going to give away my identity: if Kurt is there, order a mint julep. He makes them himself, and he proves that bartending really is a culinary art.

Best Restaurant in the metro. It is classy but not stuffy. The waitstaff is the best in town. Do expect to pay for the quality of the food you get here. I have had the Dover sole and it is one of my favorite meals of all time. The cream brûlée is excellent. We attended a private party there as well in the back room with a fixed menu and it was outstanding. Shrimp and grits, coach house salad, filet, and warm hazelnut cake for dessert. Bravo Coach house!

Over-rated. And I don't say that because it is expensive. Expensive is fine if the food is worthy of the pricing. I did not find that to be true for this place. Please re-consider.

One of the best meals I've had in 2014. We made a reservation ten minutes ahead of time and walked right in on a Monday night. The tasting menu was lovely for carnivores, but as a practicing vegetarian, I needed some guidance in the menu - especially because I noticed that they asked for no substitutions. After mentioning it to the waitress, she went to the back and had the chefs create a vegetarian tasting menu just for moi. Way to make it special, Coach House! They knew it was my birthday and sent out a pretty decorated plate at dessert. I don't remember what exactly I ate that night, but the attentiveness of the staff was perfect - always there but never hovering. Presentation was on point, and the atmosphere was very special for a celebratory meal. The Coach House is a must for important birthdays, celebrations, proposals, and so on.

How in the world have I missed out on the Coach House for so long? This is a question that brings me great regret, because if I had known it would be as good as it is, it would have already been on my regular dining schedule. My wife and I enjoyed their Friday night Valentine's four course meal that included Cured Salmon Bites, Scallops with Celery Root Puree, mixed greens with warm bacon balsamic dressing and a 4 minute egg, Beef Wellington, and a smore. The scallops were to die for. I have never experienced that kind of culinary craftsmanship in any OKC establishment so far. I literally cleaned every bit off of the plate. I can't recommend this place enough. If you consider yourself a foodie, make sure to stop by The Coach House asap. This is now at the top of my Oklahoma Restaurant list, I am sure you will agree.

Mediocre. There were certainly some stand out dishes, such as the duck confit, but most of the meal seemed very dated and uninspired. If you enjoy dining with well-to-do senior citizens in a musty building with snobby waiters, by all means make a reservation. We won't return.

By far the best restaurant in OKC. Yes, it's that great. Friendly waitstaff, atmosphere is perfect, and the food is OUTSTANDING.

I think this is by far the best restaurant I've come across in OKC since moving here in May 2013. We've been here twice now, both for special occasions, and we always get the 5-course tasting menu for $57 (I think...) per person. The menu changes seasonally, and there are no substitutions, so you have to enjoy all the ingredients in your selection, but everything has always been superb. Their wine list is pretty comprehensive, although we tend to stick with whiskey when we dine, and the service is politely attentive. Before you've finished your last sip, the waiter is by your side asking if he can refresh your beverage, something I appreciate! For my birthday last week, my parents and fiancé surprised me by getting a chocolate ganche cake at La Baguette and bringing it to the restaurant earlier in the day. There was no charge for us brining in a cake, and they put it on a platter, wrote "Happy Birthday" on it in chocolate, and brought it out to me with a candle. This was of course our second dessert, after their chocolate grand marnier soufflé, but they sliced it up nicely and served it as well. All in all, an A+ in my book! Can't wait for our next special occasion so we can come back!

Lunch at The Coach House was surprising! A really good surprise! The atmosphere is warm and a little "old school". But in a classic good way! The wait staff was attentive and knew their menu! The food? REALLY good! I had a pear and gorgonzola salad with mixed greens. I'm a stickler for mixed greens. They were totally fresh! I was happy! The cornbread was still warm and smelled heavenly! Yes, it too was delish! The lunch menu has quite a few specials that are just that! It was really a tough decision. Though the lunch crowd was small, my friend and I could laugh out loud and have a fantastic time! I haven't been there for dinner so I can't compare the atmosphere. I just really felt welcomed.

The food was amazing! This place is definitely extremely nice and if you are looking for a classy/excellent steakhouse, this is it. Good was fantastic did eat anything that wasn't good. Only dislikes about the restaurant was the setting, the look of the restaurant, and the price. It's in a seemingly suburban area, not very classy for a restaurant of it's magnitude and it doesn't really look like a steakhouse... It just didn't have the feel of a big fancy steakhouse like Del Friscos... And the price was pretty up there, some of the items seemed a taaaaaad bit over priced (mainly the salads). But over all GREAT food, steak was amazing and so was the potato(although the potato was the size of half my palm..) overall great place, but if you are looking for a big fancy event, might wanna go more downtown.

I LOVE this place! AMAZING food, excellent service. This probably is our favorite restaurant in Oklahoma City. Definite destination for any big events or special occasions. Would be great for a bridal shower or a rehearsal dinner. Everything on the menu is prefect and delicious.

First time at Coach House. Best food in OKC. Went with the Tasting Menu. Good Choice. All the food was delicious and a feast for the eyes. Wait staff were attentive and professional. Special kudos to our server, Rosie. She knew the menu and was very personable. Next time I will request a table by the window. And rest assured we will be back.

The Coach House has been a favorite fine dining experience of mine for over 20 years and last night was another great evening with some of the best food I have eaten since my last trip to Vegas. Nightly specials from the chef along with an interesting array of items that are on the standard menu will allow you to find something to suit your taste. We had cornbread crusted salmon and stuffed quail preceded by appetizers of escargot and a thinly pounded rare beef similar to Carpaccio. All entrees include side dishes so there is no need to worry that your steak, sea food, or fowl will arrive on a plate all by itself as is often the case at many high end restaurants. The sides will compliment the main dish with the Chef making sure it all comes together in such a delicious and pleasing presentation. A pumpkin souffle and creme brulee for desert finished off the meal perfectly. The service was good but not overly attentive and the atmosphere is quiet and refined. Reservations are a good idea as the place is not large and is often full for dinner. Great place for your anniversary or a very special date when you want to eat at a refined unhurried pace.

I have been to Coach House several times. Most of the experiences have been fabulous. The service is impeccable. The Blackbird Vineyards Arise red wine blend we chose was amazing. The amuse bouche beef salad on homemade tortilla chip was the most wonderfully packed one bite of flavors I've had in a very long time. The shrimp appetizer had divinely layered ingredients. The watermelon salad and their house salad were excellent. The roast chicken entree was the definition of how you want it prepared. And the Grand Marnier soufflé is now my gold standard. The chocolate cake was absolutely delightful.
